This unit was supposed to inflate to 120 psi -- stalled at 60psi and would go no higher -- not good when my pick-up needed 65 psi !! -- do not know if it is defective or not?

An NPT attachment would help. I have an old version same manufacturer with NPT thread end and I attach a quick change coupler and can use it for nailguns and staplers or practically any air tool.

It is what I needed for light-duty inflation, fairly fast, and pressures up enough to fill my portable air tank. I had found one at a 2nd hand shop a took a chance, it worked great, took it out to my hunting house and ordered this new one for home use.

This purchase was a gift. So I really cannot comment on this model of tire inflator. However, I have had an earlier model of this tire inflator for about 15 years, and I have always been exceptionally satisfied with it. So my ratings on this product deal with my old inflator.

I got tired of going to gas stations trying to get air only to find the air pump broken or difficult to use. So I decided to get a small air compressor for my tires and chose this one. It works quite well and is easy to use. Connected to my tire valves easily and securely. I like how it is maintenance free.

I am disappointed about how slowly it works. When I needed to add 8 psi to one of my car's tires it took nearly ten minutes. It may work well for a basketball or a pool toy, but I bought it for auto tires.
