works fine

We have used the bagger a number of times now and it performs well. The bag capacity is a little small but still quite functional. The installation was easy and fairly quick. We have a 46" Cub Cadet lawn tractor.

Bagger clogs ..
By Helen H.

Review Posted 03/05/2016
We just purchased a cub cadet and double bagger... our first use and the bagger keeps clogging , hardly any clipping etc. even fill the bags... it gets clogged... our first mow and its so unsettling as this cost a lot of money for us... This is the 2nd cub cadet we have owned the last one the baggers were great... these are small, don't fill, clog up, what do we do?
The mower is great, but the bagger is crap! And we don't like grass clippings on the yard. This thing was $400 plus tax - way too high for this to be. The review rating is ONLY for the mower, not the bagger (which is the issue here). I would not recommend bagger.

Not bad, would like more capacity

It was easy to set up and it functions fine. My yard is large with over 50 large trees. Lots of leaves. The only negative is the difficulty of unclogging if the chute packs tightly. As I became familiar with it, I could see through the right hand bag and prevent clogging.

My New Twin Bagger
By Lindal L.

Review Posted 04/21/2015
I have many trees around my lawn area. Leaves are a problem every year. I have piled, bagged, raked and shredded the leaves, but they are always there. I have only had the twin bagger for about 10 days, and already have a much better looking lawn. I wish I had bought the unit long ago.
The bags fit into the unit easily. Although one side fills faster than the other, it is no problem as I just swap them around when needed to keep them equalized. At first, I did clog up the chute and had to clean it out, but that was just a minor problem.
I highly recommend the bagger as a must-have attachment.

Poor afterthought

Bought this as the accompanying bagger for the 46" Cub Cadet purchased from Mowers Direct. When assembled and put into use, it works after a fashion and for how long is yet to be determined. My guess is not for long. The collection bags require very frequent emptying.
Detracts greatly from a terrific mower.

Great mower. Bad bagger.

The bagger could be better if it filled up both bags. As it is, it fills the left bag completely to the top, overflowing, and then starts to clog the chute. Of course, this isn't the Cub Cadet bagger, since that was discontinued.

Very poor quality

It is made of very thin plastic. The grass catcher will not seal around the bags, so grass blows out of the top back and the sides,
when you hit a bump with the mower the grass catcher will come up and fall back dragging the ground.
If you still want to buy this “grass catcher.” Then you need to buy several bungee cords to keep the grass catcher from falling backwards and dragging on the ground.

Awesome machine. My lot isn't but 1/2 acre, but pushing 80, I can't walk that much after a power mower. More than enough for my needs and fun to drive. Should have done it long ago.
Thanks Mowers Direct for the fast and excellent service. You folks are great and will be recommended.
Sincerely,
Waldo P.
