I bought this when we had 2 feet of snow in a weekend. It got here just after the last of it melted, so I can't really say how well it blows snow. I have had a chance to assemble it and drive it around and it is very easy to maneuver. The engine was easy to start (both ways) but it is REALLY loud, so I would recommend wearing ear protection. My only complaint was that the plastic clip that hold the chute tool was malformed when I got it. They send me another one for free and it wasn't malformed but it snaps into 2 holes on the top of the housing and is a pretty sloppy fit so the whole thing flops around and vibrates when the engine is running. I fixed this with 2-1/16" thick rubber washers which took up the slop. I have a gravel driveway so I adjusted the blue skid shoes all the way down so gravel won't get thrown with the snow. (if we ever get any) All in all, this seems to be a nice quality machine.

My overall rating of the product is very good. It has plenty of power and does a very good job. The only thing I would change is the gearing ratio. I wish it had a lower gear that would allow me to creep into snow banks. I also would like the reverse two gears to be faster. Most of the time I pull the machine backwards because the gearing is too slow. Also, the snow removal tool does not clamp into the bracket. The fit is too sloppy and falls off.

We had 10 inches of snow and in areas up to 16” deep. My driveway is at least 1/4 mile long. I made 3 round trips which cleared it over 12 ft. wide. Worked very well with little effort. 🤓

One very successful purchase! Delivered as promised and the trucker even rolled it into my garage. The assembly was easy, although trying to follow the directions were difficult, only because so many models were shown and trying to identify mine in the booklet was hard. I started to add oil to the engine and found that it already had oil, even though the directions said to add oil. Other then what is mentioned here everything else went well. Have used it once and performs great, now waiting for more snow!

I was excited when I received my new Cub Cadet 28” Snowblower. It was extremely easy to assemble and the Cab I purchased with it fits perfectly. I started it up and tried every gadget it has. AWESOME! I am anxiously waiting for our next snowstorm so I can put my new toy to good use on my very large driveway. I would recommend the Cub Cadet as a high quality, best bang for the buck snowblower! I reviewed many other brands and kept going back to the Cub Cadet!
