Wing blade not sharp and wing blade not in line. Have a welding shop make one.

Four way Ramsplitter.

I had to adapt my Ramsplitter to fit my older splitter, but it works very well & has saved me a lot of time. Because it's very easy to remove I can quickly change from very big pieces then to switch to my four way... I would recommend this to anyone that wants to split a lot more wood in less time...

Good unit but only for certain size logs

I have split about 2 cords now with this and it seems to work well with logs that are no more than 9-12 inches large. You also need to line up the log with the cross which is sometimes a bit awkward with large logs. Easier in vertical mode.
Weld splatter had to be filed down before use-sloppy in my opinion. Also needed to sharpen the cross blade since it came almost flat dull. Overall a good unit that I hope will last a long time. It does save time doing 4 way splits.

Junk

Needs to be made out of harder steel. After one cord of splitting its all bent up. Not worth the money, have a weld shop make one.

4-way splitter
By Skip

I would have given the 4-way splitter a 5 star rating if not for having to fabricate the support that slips over the wedge on my log splitter. It was a little loose and would twist slightly. The 4-way splitter did an excellent job by cutting the time in half. I split logs up to 16" in diameter. My splitter is rated at approximately 20 tons. Occasionally I had some logs that would not split. I simply removed the 4-way splitter and slipped it back on to continue.I would recomend this 4-way splitter attachment to anyone who wants to split twice as much wood in half the time.
Money well spent.

Built tough in the US of A!

Ramsplitter builds all of their units in Rockford, Illinois out of top quality components.
Take a look at the video to see how a 4 way wedge on a 16 ton model rips through a large log.
This is one of their smaller log splitters- imagine how fast your woodpile would grow with a 4 way wedge on a 30 ton unit!
Add the log cradles so you don't have to spend the day picking the split wood off the ground, and you have a classic example of working smarter, not harder.
