Made it 20.9 hours and started making metal and water mixed with oil. For nearly $400 it was a waste of money Pressure Washers Direct will refer you to the manufacturer for a warranty, however, the manufacturer won’t respect that warranty because you didn’t purchase it from them. It’s a lot of trouble to even try to warranty these things because I have to drive an hour away for an incompetent mechanic to agree it’s broken and no one will warranty it and I owe him money for trying…the whole situation sucks and I need a new pump!

Your pump came with a 5 year Limited warranty against defects in material and workmanship. As this is a limited warranty, certain items are not covered as they can become damaged in as little as 10 minutes of misuse or abuse.

I’ve had two washers down over a year. One phone call and a week later I had two beast pressure washers going within an hour of delivery. Customer service hit for the cycle (baseball analogy) pumps pitched a no hitter and the instructions from customer service on replacement of the pumps was walk off win!!

I’ve tried several times on several houses to pull detergent to the lines. I am very upset with how poor this pump is working. Brand new and will not pull anything. Water pressure is good, just spits water out of injector…..

1. Are you using the black spray tip? Pressure washers will dispense soap at low pressure only when the black-colored spray tip is in.
2. Have you extended your high-pressure hose? If yes, go back to the original length of the hose.
3. The consistency of the detergent is too thick, make sure it is properly diluted, the detergent should be slightly thicker than water only.

Received pump, installation was easy and pressure was above expectation. Filled a bucket with water to test the siphon for the soap injector, did not work. Bought new black soap tip and wand, still no siphon. Decreased water pressure at the water faucet, no siphon. Check siphon tube for clog, no issues. Now, I call Pressure Washer Direct the next day to explain my issue with the pump and was referred to the apparent manufacturer of the pump (Simpson) only to be referred back to Pressure Washer Direct whom hang up on me before I even talk to a live person, not once but 5 times. Guess I’m stuck with a pump I paid $377 to include shipping that doesn’t siphon soap. Very bad business but life goes on!!! Currently searching for a new dealer to purchase the same pump once more.

It seems you have done all the troubleshooting options correctly that we are trained to go over with our customers at Pressure Washers Direct. We would like to apologize for all the back and forth calling. We were having some phone issues which might have been why the disconnections happened. The pump does have a 5-year warranty and should have been properly diagnosed by Simpson since we do not handle manufacturer warranty at Pressure Washers Direct.
