It was amazing how much dirt was tilled in just a few minutes. Overall very good product. But hard to pull through the dirt as it was tilling.

Did not come from factory preadjusted. Unit is made with soft metals. Depth adjustment rod bends easily. Unit has tendency to drop in depth while in use. Not recommended for soils with roots.

This machine was easy to use. It took quite some time to get the motor started, but it does an awesome job of rototilling. The main thing is you have to go slow. I hooked it up to A John Deere 112 garden tractor, and it worked great.

I have now had the tiller for about 2 months, and it works great. There are just a couple of things to mention. First, the shear pins are very weak and will shear at a moderate stress level, but it's super easy to upgrade them to stronger bolts. I also wish there were additional attachments available for the unit.
This is actually my second tiller. The first one was purchased about 27 years ago and was made by Haban Racine, But is essentially exactly the same tiller. I only purchased a new one because I simply wore out the old one. And believe me, it was used a LOT! So, if that is what I can expect from this tiller then it will outlast me. A strong easy to start Briggs and Stratton Engine is the heart of this unit and will last a generation if properly taken care of.
Overall, a great way to make life easier in your garden or flower bed.
