Hopefully This Spreader Will Serve It's Purpose

The $59.95 spreader for $116.00 is about what I anticipated, based on the reviews that I read prior to purchase. Received it on time and assembled it with little difficulty. Have not used yet due to weather . I agree with other reviews. The drop mechanism is suspect. It needs to be re-engineered. The plastic will stand little racquet and the shrouded adjustment drop control cable is way too long, causing binding when adjusting.The pneumatic tires are over-kill, more of a liability than a plus. Go with American made solid. Why not 4 bolts to attach hopper to frame as the second frame hole is available on each frame rod. Looking forward to using, and will up-date review depending on experience. Thanks. One other issue, packaging was NIL. All parts were loose in the shipping box .

I purchased to replace same spreader that broke after 5 years of use. One week later it went on sale for $20 less and already assembled at local farm store. Took me about 1 hour to put together.

Simple to put together. Very stable behind rider.
Only issue is setting disbursement. Agri-Fab does have corresponding settings to Scotts and others. Takes some guesstimating.
