My pulmonologist suggest breathing fresh air by opening the windows. There's no better way to pull in cool overnight/early AM air than with an exhaust fan.

I easily installed this window fan in a room in my shop (16x16) where I do metal grinding, bead blast cabinet, plasma cutting, welding and some spray painting. On the highest setting, it easily exhausts all the dirty air and partials from the room. I would highly recommend!

Sorry BUT I DO love my fan.
Even in FL, I got it when in Tn. It is 10+ years old and still runs strong. My Aunt in Philly had it and her house felt air conditioned. So, I bought one opps two I shared.

I accidentally got a bigger fan than I meant to. It was expensive to return it so I found myself stuck with it. I wanted it for my living room and it definitely moves a lot of air. Unfortunately, even on the lowest setting, it's loud enough that you can't easily carry on a conversation on the first floor when it's running. It's best used in an attic or at night on a floor other than the one you're using a lot.

3200 sf house, 2 story. One unit works perfectly to get the second floor rooms cooled down when the weather is optimum. Yes, you can hear it running, but it is a fan - not a big deal.
