Worst Ever

I thought I did my research well and was impressed with the fact that Ariens is made in the USA and, from all appearances, the LM21 looked like a well designed and heavy duty mower. I have a full acre to mow, actually like mowing (used to anyway...) and haven't (yet) taken the easy way out by buying a riding mower. Ariens is very "proud" of their mower, as indicated by the retail price, and there is a lot of really good engineering that went into the LM 21, it may just last forever, HOWEVER, who would want it to since it does everything well EXCEPT CUT GRASS, it looks all shiny and everything but what a TURKEY -- I HATE IT!!!
Full disclosure: I do live in the Pacific Northwest and perhaps the dampness has something to do with it but, as I write this, its 72 degrees outside, clear and hasn't rained in 48-hours but the darn thing just doesn't cut grass well (my 10-year old Craftsman that cost less than a third of what the Ariens cost still does a better job.)

I have had this mower for 12 years and it's very tough, made very strong, and runs great.
Everything about this mower is great. I can't tell you enough- the variable speed setting is awesome and sets to your pace for that day or how you feel.
I recommend this mower, and ARIENS is for sure #1 in mowers.
