Wow! What A Pump!

I bought this pump to use as a booster pump to run my 1 1/2" irrigation king rain gun. I live on a large hill (mountain) with a creek at the bottom. About 300' uphill and probably 20-50' of elevation is my corn field/ veg garden. I use a harbor freight 2" pump at the creek and run about 275' of 2" flat hose to this pump, which then pumps another 125' of 2" hose to my sprinkler. When I turn this pump on it is like unleashing a hurricane of rain and mist on my hill. I made a pvc riser for my sprinkler and the pressure was so high it blew one of the fittings apart. (And im a plumber! I prep my pipe and fittings right!) I had to get stronger glue and fresher primer to make sure it could handle the pressure this little beast puts out! I hooked up the firemans nozzle on the 2" hose to finish watering the field after the sprinkler riser disconnecred.
What a thrill! I have never had so much fun watering the field! It would take two people to move the hose when pumping. I could spray from where I stood but moving was impossible by myself. Luckily I could easily reach 100'+ in any direction. This pump really is something else compared to the semi-trash pumps I'm used to. I love my new pump and hope it lasts a long time. It does seem like it is made really well. The pump sat in my garage for a few months after arriving and it started the very first pull. As it has done ever since. I did buy the wheel kit from harbor freight to put on this pump. The wheel brackets required a little modification on the pumps metal label panel to fit on the one side. Everything else lined up really well. It is definitely doable if you have some longer bolts than the kit offers, some loctite, and a grinder or sawzall. Anyways, really recommend this pump! It's a great value for what you get.

For a garden well pump service, It takes about 5 minutes for the sprinkler to reach max coverage.

I had a IPT with Briggs engine until the tank and carb went to pieces. Used for garden service from a well. I need to run this pump three times to equal two times for the same coverage with the old pump. The jury is still out. There may be a crack in my manifold and I am waiting for the leak to surface.
The drain plug has a drip leak. May bust the knob if I go tighter.

I am using the pump to water my field. The intake suction height is about 10 feet, the discharge hose is 100ft-long 2-inch firehose, and the height to my sprinkler is about 6 feet (total head 16 feet not counting resistance in the hose). I am getting 57 psi at the sprinkler but I haven't measured the gpm. My guess would be at least 80gpm but probably closer to 100gpm or more. I have only used the pump a few times so far so I cannot comment on reliability but it has started on the first pull every time and performed well.

The pump is awesome. It exceeded my expectations for sure. Using it for irrigation and it pumps out of a pond. Although I have not checked the pressure it handles the sprinklers well.

Of the several low cost, high pressure water pumps I have owned this is by far the best! Its performance is exceptional and is very easy starting. It runs 50% longer on a tank of fuel than its predecessors while moving as much or more water at higher pressure. I LOVE THIS PUMP!

Bought this pump last year for irrigating the lawn but didn't get to use it. Set up the pump from the lake today, 7/6/18 250 feet of 2" pipe and hose to a strongway 49521 wheeled sprinkler. It shoots 90 foot radius, you can't go wrong with this unit. Got excellent advice from Water Pumps Direct.
