The Basement Watchdog® Big Combo is a pre-assembled, energy-efficient 1/2 HP primary sump pump combined with the number one selling Basement Watchdog® Special CONNECT® Battery Backup Sump Pump System. It's the D.I.Y. solution for replacing your current sump pump with an efficient, cost-saving one that includes a redundant battery backup system with 24 hour a day monitoring and a Wifi capable controller. With two sump pumps in your sump pit, continuous monitoring and remote notification allowing you to receive texts, emails and in App alerts you can feel safe that your basement is protected. The system is easy to install with little or no plumbing knowledge required. The 1/2 HP Cast Iron primary pump provides outstanding capacity-pumping up to 4,400 GPH at 0 ft. lift. The backup sump pump is battery-operated, and pumps at 2,600 GPH at 0 ft. lift. The backup sump pump can run intermittently for days on a single battery charge (Not Included). The WiFi capable controller monitors the pump, power, and battery conditions 24 hour a day. Plus, the controller exercises the pump weekly to make sure it stays healthy. I liked how when I had problems with my first sump pump that I was given another sump pump with an upgrade to accommodate my needs for more HP to accomplish the job I unknowingly required. The latest pump I installed is like a Cadillac. It is quiet, efficient and effective. I feel totally confident that this Watchdog sump pump product will never fail me if I decide to go on an extended trip. The backup pump was a fantastic idea of additional protection if something should ever go wrong. The constant monitoring of the serviceability of this product is genius to keep tabs on its reliability in the future to be able to detect any problems that may occur when attaining new parts from different vendors. This product has been engineered to be easily placed in the sump area with no consumer thinking barely at all. For "Piece of Mind" I would definitely buy this product.

Have to say this was pretty easy putting in. The pump/maintenance free battery/and Wifi unit all came together. I did have some connection issues but it was my fault due to case sensitivity on the login and password. Other than my mistake this was 100% EASY TO INSTALL. I HIGHLY recommend this combo sump. I have had two hard rains since install and it works flawlessly.

I ordered two of these pumps. One arrived broken. Watch Dog was very friendly with helping me replace the pump. The replacement arrived but was also broken out of the box. Still waiting on a second replacement. The one that wasn't broken works great. It's super quiet and has been doing its job really well.

This product works as advertised and the install was easy. The directions strongly suggest using a wet cell battery with their brand name on it that requires maintenance. I was a little put off and stopped reading the directions when they suggested that using anything but the watchdog battery was not recommended. There are better options offering more value, no wet cell maintenance and 100-120 amp hours.

Finally got enough rain to see pump in action. It was relatively easy to install. Fit perfectly in 12.5 inch diameter well. Ran vey quiet compared to old pump and pushed out a lot of water very quickly.
