Easy replacement of a tank heater
By Ryan M.

I had a 30 year old tank water heater that was on its last legs and needed something that would be more reliable than current tanks plus wanted an energy efficiency upgrade.
Installation was very easy thanks to the water connections being on the top of the unit. It fit very nicely in the space where the tank was and hookup was as straightforward as hooking up a tank.
The by far most time consuming task was getting the exhaust and air intake lines routed and in place because of where I had to locate the unit in the structure, but that would be the same for any unit.

Easy to install. Hang in wall. Use proper concentric vent. Install 3/4” gas line with shut off valve. Install water lines with proper valves. Install condensate drain tube. Plug it in and done. Only took me 3 days. Ha had to get all the proper supplies but once you turn the power on it is all configured and ready to go. Perfect so far.

Great Tankless water heater

While I have only owned this a month so can't comment on longevity (for me the most important aspect of a hot water heater) The unit has been great, instant hot water comes quickly and is endless , the units controls are self explanatory but have not had to adjust since initial setting. Have not had any issue with volume using 3 outlets simultaneously.
I chose this over Rinnai because it was somewhat cheaper than Rinnai for the feature set, and I had previously owned a Bosch tankless unit that was still running at 20 years. It is also easier to install than most units because the water piping out the top.
