The purchase was quick and easy. The staff was very helpful. I had been Eye Balling this unit or several months. It went on a brief sell for about $700 off. I quickly purchased on a Tuesday. I received the unit in 2 days in the Houston area in mint condition. Not even one scratch. It took me about a week from start to finish to install, including a slab. I did have a professional install the transfer switch and wire in as Briggs requires this for your warranty.
I purchased this unit over a Generac as the people I know with Generac have had major issues even after recent servicing. I have a few friends that have had Briggs for years without any issues. I think Generac is too big and corporate. Briggs also says they can run 24/7.
