Powerful And Quiet

Quality build.. small size but large CFM means you can quietly blast a cabinet on this without the huge tank. Does need 220, but otherwise perfect for small shop that needs big air power.

Quiet Compressor Combo

Received well secured to heavy pallet and no damage. I did not order with additional handling and they delivered to my garage door. Plugged directly to a 20 amp 220 outlet. I added an oiler to it. Comes with a small water separator. Pumps up tank quickly within a minute or less. I'm using it for body restoration. Fits under my workbench nicely. Now time will tell if it lasts 20 years like my old oilless compressor. I do wish the regulator had a support besides the welded pipe.

I was very excited to upgrade the air compressor in my shop. When I found the promise of a powerful, yet quiet machine from California Air I felt that I found the perfect match. I have this running for two months now and my expectations have been surpassed. I am constantly surprised that the air release at the end of a fill cycle is the only sound that I notice - having not realized that the compressor had been running. It may be a bit on the expensive side, but I believe it is well worth the cost.

Compressor was well created and without damage. I was looking at a Quincy and then saw this model which fit my air needs and space requirements, but also comes with the benefits of oil free air, no belt and less electrical draw for almost the same cfm. Also, my shop is not heated and I didn't like the idea of a 3hp motor trying to start a pump at 15 deg! This one has no problems in the cold. The performance is great, but with a 20 gal receiver you should expect it to cycle more often, although recovery is quick and cfm is adequate for most tasks. Over all I'm very happy with this purchase.

Exceeds All Performance Expectations

I am very happy with the performance of this compressor. It is very quiet for its power level. I am pretty happy with the gages and regulator. It is a really good size, fits well underneath a workbench.
There are a few minor improvements that could be made:
In my opinion, this size of compressor should have a 3/8 npt instead of 1/4 npt. I also think weld quality around the feet and other brackets could be improved. The welds are more than strong enough, but there are pinholes in a few spots and the paint didnt get into the pinholes. Other than that, this is a great compressor.

Only been up and running one week. A little louder than I thought and kicks on more than the previous compressor but overall pleased.

Has Exceeded My Expectations!

Had some reservations in purchasing it since it is a new product and does not have many reviews. So far it has exceeded my expectations, it is truly quiet compared to other compressors.
You can work around it all day and not get a headache. The recovery time is really amazing... that's what I was most impressed with. The construction and design seems very durable.
I have used the air compressor now for about 2 weeks and I'm very well pleased
The unit does cost more then comparable air compressors with the the same stats, but it was worthwhile paying extra for a quieter unit.
