Cuts great, only improvement I would suggest is a longer handle option for taller people. I only cut a small area but my back is killing me at the end and I'm only 5Ə"

New to the reel world from a rotary of 20 years. Love the manicured look it gives. Having a hard time with the stripes and burnt edges but I’ll get the hang of it.
Before you buy one make sure your yard is 100% level to mow below 1/2”. I levels 2x this season and the CT mower can find the high spots no problem.
The Honda 160 engine is a beast and usually starts on first or second pull. Maneuvering is a bit tricky at first few uses but it’s manageable after that.
I am 6’2 bought the handle extension but you don’t really need it, besides you need an engineering degree to install it. My hard is 6700sf with a few tree rings as obstacles. HOC is 5/8” in N TX

Honda engine starts easily and purrs. The roller prevents scalped spots where a wheel drops off into the edging trough. I can mow right to the edge. Basket holds twice what my metal basket held. Trigger actuator and reel stop promote safety and give mowing speed options! No need for the old slow walk system. A wise purchase—quick delivery, too—not close to 10-14 days—less than 10!
I’m 86 years old and just retired. I want a good mower and I bought the last one I’ll ever buy. The Trimmer it replaces still cuts well! The oil alert Honda engine on the old Trimmer base runs beautifully and that still cuts circles around other mowers! So why buy a new mower? I wanted it.

I really like the mower. It cuts grass so evenly. My lawn looks like a golf course. It is expensive but worth it if you spend money to have a nice lawn. My only complaint would be the handles are short which causes you to be hunched over while cutting, overall a great mower!

I received my 'Cal trimmer" as promised. I purchased the liftgate option and the package was placed at the garage door as someone was home. The delivery service stated they would have placed it on the front patio/ slab behind Azaleas if no one was home. The packaging was great. I opened the container and to my surprise, there was not a lot to assemble. The directions in the manual are easy to read and understand. After reading the manual and adding the oil contained in the package, I pulled the starter handle and I have a putting green out front. "Jim" at 'Cal Trimmer" is awesome and said, If you ever have questions, don't hesitate to call. I love my 'Cal Trimmer'!!! Dwayne
