The compressor came on time. There was a part missing and the pressure switch had an issue. Other than that it looks ok. Not happy with these issues just have to fix it. I will just change the pump and motor to something better.

The compressor didn't make it 1 day before it broke down. The aluminum pipe from the compressor to the tank broke off within an hour. The fan guard is noisy, bolts fell out of the motor mount. I called Air Compressors Direct and they said they have nothing to do with warranty. I will never buy again.

First and foremost, thank you for your purchase. We are sorry to hear you are having issues with your unit and want to reassure you factory warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship. Our company is required to follow the manufacturer warranty process if there are issues. Campbell would need to be contacted directly at 1-855-504-5678 to start the warranty process if you have not done so yet. If they are unable to troubleshoot the issue over the phone they have Local Service Centers that can also assist you and apply the warranty for servicing the unit. If their service doesn't meet your expectations, or if there's anything else we can please email us and we will be happy to help. We will forward your review to the manufacturer so they are aware of the situation.

We appreciate your business and apologize for any inconvenience.

This is a beast of a compressor. I would put it on the low end of the commercial use range. I have a medium sized workshop and it is great for me.

This air compressor is great! It keeps up with my DA sander, air board, spray Guns and pneumatic tools. The air recovers really quickly.

I hope the is the last compressor I ever need to buy. Free shipping and no tax! Cannot beat it.

Review Update

Review Posted 03/03/2017
I wrote a review titled "Won't Repair" couldn't figure out how to add to it so write this one too. Short version is bought compressor and 14 months later after only being on 3 or 4 times pump broke and locked up and then burned up motor before I could hit kill switch. they said motor out of warrant pump has to be taken to repair facility. I could never get location out of them to go to. Or I could buy motor since it not warrantied and if pump still bad they will send the part that needs. But be dumb for me to buy motor and burn it up to prove pump bad then have to buy another one again. So I just gave up.

UPDATE 6 months later I desperately need a compressor for truck I working on. So I talked with them about buying pump and motor (my truck is being worked on so I can't haul new one easily so i thought I would price pump/ motor with delivery compared to new different brand compressor plus haul fee)

And when I ask about pump and motor the lady asked why I wanted both. I told her she said but pump warrantied I repeated the above problem and she said that pump breaks it should cover motor too that she will check and get back to me. She got back to me today 2 days later and said they are going to send me a new pump and motor to my house.

So I am going to say I just got a representative the first time that only read one line on paper and couldn't do anything else. Problem fixed and i hope this one last as long as my last Campbell Hausfeld which was 40 years. Still ran strong but was stolen.

In all I would say tank look great rest looked good guess I just had bad one which happens with any brand occasionally. But I had bad luck of that one Campbell Hausfeld representative that couldn't figure out anything but the heading on a piece of paper. So I would say buy again. Just don't get that one representative I did first time.

Won't Repair

First want to say I didn't buy this compressor from here. I am looking to purchase another model from this website just wanted to leave my review on this model as that is reason I need a new one.

I bought this compressor to replace my old one as it was stolen. My old one was my grandfather's Campbell Hausfeld from early 70s worked great and said made in America on it. Then new one I did the break in then only used couple times to air a tire or use air hammer to remove car wheel. Then aired up a tire and it started knocking and shook whole building and before I got shut down the motor smoked and blew breaker.

I call customer service at Campbell hausefeld and got a run around of you have to take to repair facility but there isn't one in my area.( I live 1 hour from Johnson city, TN and 2.15 hour from Knoxville, TN.) I find that hard to believe. But it was 14 month after purchase so motor out of warranty it was a year but pump has 3 year. And I was told I could buy a new motor and then if pump is bad they will send replacement parts. I asked why buy a motor for compressor with bad pump to blow that motor and then have to buy another motor. They said don't know for sure pump is bad. Well electric motor don't know and make belt squeal. They said sorry that my options. I need compressor to do repairs to my truck. Which I have been no compressor for 5 months now!! So I called to price a pump and motor. The lady yesterday say send email with pic and she will see about fixing it and act like they didn't want to even sell me motor and pump.

I am not much for online shopping but just looking this website because I need one delivered as I have broke truck. The old Campbell hausefeld I had worked great for over 40 years of sanding sandblasting etc. This one never got used yet and broke and warranty won't fix. Plus this one has a made in China sticker on the pump!!

I'm sorry you're having issues with your compressor. Factory Warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship. It is customary for a manufacturer to want one of their Authorized Service locations to look at the unit to make sure it's a Warranty issue.

I checked Campbell Hausfeld's Service Center Locator and I didn't see anything within 50 miles of your town, either. You can check our list of Service Center Locators as you shop for a replacement unit to make sure there will be service for it in your area.

I have had this compressor for about 2 years. It has been fine until a starter capacitor blow up. This happens to motors so, not a problem, but on this site there is no parts tab. So I get a new cap from McMaster-Carr.

Then I change it out and decide to bleed the tank. The bleeder value has always been strange because it is Left hand threaded and no mater what way you turn it, it seems to be getting tighter. This is maybe third time I emptied it.

This time it will not seel no mater what I do. Now I need a new valve but again, no parts tab, I feel abandon.
