The inside plastic spindle wore out the teeth and you cannot get a replacement. Don't buy this saw.

Auto oiler doesn't work
By Earl G.
Senoia, Georgia
Review Posted 09/30/2013
I bought one on Craftsman.com and it operated very well and cut like a champ. The only issue was that the auto chain oiler didn't work. I had to use a oil can to keep the chain oiled. I contacted Sears and took it back and they gave me another saw. The first time I used it the auto oiler didn't work on this one either. The first one I took apart and found that the auto oiler has a small pump that works off a cam built into the sun gear housing. I tried a number of ways to get it primed and pumping but nothing worked. I love the 18" bar and the powerful motor. It is light enough to work in trees and be able to handle it safely, but the lack of bar oil makes this chain saw a bad purchase.
