15 years of service Recommended

I have had this mower for at least 15 years and about 6 years ago I discovered the engine oil was almost completely gone in it. I don't know if the service place I took it to every 6 or 7 years just didn't put enough in it or what happened. Since then, the oil has always stayed perfect with nothing added. I have a fairly large lawn I mow weekly. The battery on the self start went years ago as they all get battery failure after so many years. I have a bumpy large back yard do to moles every year and still have all the original wheels. This is better than my commercial hydrostatic Honda mower I had and the front 360 wheels allow it to mow anywhere. Best mower I have ever owned. Still looks great. Can cut grass 10 inches high if need be.

Drive Wheels Fail About Every 2 Years

I usually get many years use from a mower before having problems. Bought this lawnmower as the best self-propelled in the store. Used only to cut a residential lot where a riding mower would be too much. Rear wheels are plastic and only last about 2 seasons on average. Replacement wheels are too expensive for the poor quality - this lowers the value of this mower due to the high maintenance cost. Engine does start well and has good power.

Lawn Mower

This was an expensive mower that has good starting but you need to charge battery after starting more than 6 times with electric starter but starts easy by the pull start system. Besides that this is a very good lawn mower that you can set speeds to very fast or slow with plenty of power for deep grass.
