I've had this lawn mower for less than 2 years and it already won't run. In addition the height adjustment lever will not stay in place and when it did work, the height would change on its own as you mowed. The engine is no longer under warranty. The lever is under warranty, but there are virtually no repair shops that work with Cub Cadet. I will not buy Cub Cadet again.

Bad Instructions, Low Quality, Unreliable, I was told that using gas with ethanol ruins the carburetor. This my mower doesnt run. Cub Cadet doesnt warn owners about this issue.

Problems - the side deflector becomes clogged with grass and falls off. To reconnect requires prying compacted grass out of the mower and the plastic deflector. Disappointing

Good solid mower. Pretty easy to set up. Instructions could be a little clearer, but if I could figure it out then most anyone can. I would suggest getting the self propelled version for the extra money ( I think it is less than $100 more) as it is a little harder to push through the thicker spring grass. Started on the third pull and seems to cut well. Solid construction.

I had the previous same model for 5 years and it was still running well when I bought this one. It was literally falling apart, One issue I had with the older model was the back flap. It started coming off anytime you back upped. No improvements were made with the new one if anything it looks cheaper. It's come off a few times already. It's a tough machine, runs great. But the body could use an upgrade of sorts.
