Was looking for a made in America Inverter/Generator, and low and behold came across a absolute surprise. CUMMINS. Was familiar with some of their machinery, and name. Both with good vibes. Yes, I am satisfied. Bought this for my wife, being as I have cancer, and wanted her to have a dependable generator, plus lighter one. Which this inverter does. The features are admirable, run time, wattage, all great numbers.

I am an electrician I use my Onan portable generator on the job in conjunction with my Hilti demo hammer to pound in 8 ft long ground rods. It starts first pull every time, it's a tuff, powerful little machine and I could not be happier. If you need a dependable go anywhere generator this is the one you want.

The Generator is Fully functional ... a bit noisier than my Old Honda ... I would have like to seen by design a manual vent on top of Gas Cap like on the Honda's ... if you fill it past the level recommend it will shut off after ot had been started in the first 3 minutes unless you leave the cap loose as top let it breathe ... outside of that a little higher Rev when I have my Small Ceramic Heater plugged in ... not an issue with any of the 3 mentioned here ... just different by design ... Overall I'm pleased with the unit so far ... A little early in the game to form a true opinion ... We'll see 6 or 8 months down the road after constant use this summer.

Generator would not turn off after first startup, generator came with a broken fuel shutoff valve. Was instructed to let it run till ran out of fuel (6 hours). I was told to take it to the Cummins repair center as it is under warranty (2.5 hours away) . Also instructed by Electric Generators Direct they are not liable since I put fuel in the machine. Wishing I would have trusted my instincts and purchased a Honda generator from a brick and mortar store. It would have been cheaper in the long run avoid this product and electric generators direct. Now I will have 8 hours of total drive time to repair a brand new generator, and look forward to what may break next…

Great product, well packaged, started right up. Handles my loads just fine. Not as quiet as I had hoped, but it's fine for my use. Also, left it out overnight in 25 degrees one night and it would not start next morning. Brought it inside, warmed it a bit, and it started right up. Since this is an emergency generator for my cabin when the utilitiy power goes out, I just store it inside and it will be fine. I need it to run my refrigerator and my cabin's Monitor heater. I only use ethanol-free gas in the generator.

It works great for about 100 hours then it's all down hill do not buy this generator I strongly recommend buying any other generator this is not reliable

We needed a generator for our 13,000 b.t.u. air conditioner & our A.C powered coffee maker for camping w/o utility hook-ups.. The Onan/Cummings is at least almost as quiet as a 3,000 watt Honda that we borrowed last year that took two people to load & unload. It started on the first pull and I can carry it short distances with one arm ( 48 lbs.). It runs our A.C., t.v., & small refrigerator. We turned the A.C. off, to fan only, & started making coffee. Once the pot was full, we could turn the A.C. back on.
I am very impressed with this small generator and would love to sell these to people whose needs are no more than 20 amps or so. It is perfect for us & seems to be made of quality materials & workmanship. We are well pleased.
