I am impressed by the features and would have expected to pay more for things like an included battery, charging system and a remote start. Assembly was a breeze, my 17 year old son did it, I have started it and confirmed that it works with the back powering outlet to my breaker box. Luckily I have not needed to use it yet, so I am not sure well it will handle a load like my well pump.

Outstanding product very easy to use. Bought as a backup power source for an all electric home. Can run freezer, fridge, microwave and space heater if power goes out.

I had purchased a $16k large Kohler generator from this company last fall and was very pleased so when I needed a portable generator I came back. I selected this generator in large part based on my experience with Onan. The generator was shipped quickly, but on unpacking and assembly, I saw the bracket holding the LP regulator was broken from the frame. The packaging appeared adequate and was undamaged. A close look at the welds revealed cheap appearing spot welds. Also a sticker saying “Made in Vietnam”. That explains a lot. I try hard to buy quality American made equipment, but Cummins Onan fell short in outsourcing this to Asia. EGD was helpful in getting this picked up and returned and provided a refund. I’d definitely do business with them again, but will pay closer attention to where products are made before purchasing. I never added oil or fuel to this one due to the damage, so I cannot comment further, but this indication of cheap build quality was enough to send me looking for another brand.

Will not start with push button and fob. Finally started after 4 hours with pull rope. Customer service has been terrible. Need to take to be seen to have warranty work on a new unit. Should not need to be taken for warranty work on new-out of box unit. Crap unit.

Love it--can't wait for the power to go out so I can use it--even though it can run on gas or propane--I have it hooked up to run on the propane--and the best thing is I don't have to pull start it!

Great Genset, I have two of these generators because I live off grid in the national forest. When my current genset hit 2500 hours I figured I should get another one as back up. Only issue is that it came with a damaged and unusable wheel. Fortunately I had some spare parts.
