Good Pump. It it's new. Ask me to review in 6 months to a year. Then I'll tell ya the skinny".
For a 1 horse bragging about 190 psig, why doesn't it have a 1" or 1-1/4" intake? I'd get better pressure and volume off my reservoir tank. 3 is fair 3 is good. Why put 5 when you've never used it or haven't really put it to the test. Strange people. All the other import pumps before this one, get a 2 because they are noisy and die after 1 to 2 years..,,

I always keep a spare above ground pump at all times because I'm really far from any available services and delivery take 7 to 10 days. I require performance curve of 10 gallons per minute at a turn on pressure of 65 psi and turn off pressure of 90 psi. This above ground pump meets these specs using an above ground 1100 gallon water storage tank according to Flotec. The stages in the Flotec pump show this to be true. I will not use it until my existing pump fails. Water supply to the above ground pump is clean and 1100 gallon storage tank settles any fine debris. Only running will say if the specifications are accreate. Been using Dayton 12 stage Pumps for 25 years. Time will tell!

This is a cost effective replacement for my old worn shallow well pump. I needed something that could handle higher head pressure and this fit the bill perfectly. So far it has flawlessly. If I had gone with a Gould pump it would have cost twice as much. I also like that it has a breakdown with replacement parts.
