Good Pump For The Money
By Don A.
Bigfork, Montana
Purchased 07/20/2020 |
Review Posted 09/02/2020
I use this pump to lift water 10’ up from the lake and pump to 70 sprinkler heads on 6 zones flowing at least 2 gym each. Some zones have as many as 15 heads. this pump seems to pressure them up and flows all the water that I need at pressure. Managed to get my foot valve in the lake and suck up a bunch of sand. Pump handled it no problem. My sprinkler heads not so much. Pump is reliable. The only complaint is that Franklin insists on going through dealers for service or parts. I had another one of these and I needed parts and the dealer said to just buy a new pump, as servicing the old one is too expensive. I’m pretty sure parts would have been less expensive, but Franklin customer service at the manufacturer level is non existent if you are not a dealer. I’ve actually had the pumps apart and they are not that hard to work on, if you could just get parts.

So Far So Good

Pump has been in service for about two weeks. Feeds up to 9 rotary sprinkler heads with plenty of pressure and volume. Was easy to install and runs quieter then previous pumps. Now to see how long it lasts.

Best Pump In Over 15 Years

Excellent pump, way better than previous pump. LOVE the self priming feature, started system right up! Wish I would of been more involved with last pump purchase than taking recommendation from sprinkler maintenance company.

Great Pump
By Rick B.
Merritt Island, Florida
Purchased 04/25/2017 |
Review Posted 05/23/2017
The Franklin pump was easy to install. Seems to be a quality built pump and is very quiet. Time will tell how well it holds up in the Florida environment and brackish shallow well water, but the stainless steal impeller should help. My biggest concern is how well the back cover, mounting bracket, and paint holds up. Getting the pump covered from the elements will definitely help.

A great pump from a quality company. Just began using it, but so far no problems with it. Would buy it again. A bit more expensive, but has a stainless impeller.

Wonderful First Impression

We used the pump for the first time tonight at our neighborhood park. The pump sucked the water out of the Niagara River and fed a 100' 1 1/2" fire hose and we were able to accomplish all our garden watering. Next up we will connect to our sprinklers and see how many we can run!! Awesome pump!

Great Water Pump
By Donald F.
Franklin, Indiana
Purchased 05/30/2016 |
Review Posted 07/13/2016
I looked and looked for the best pump I could buy and this one seemed to me to be the better one I have it hooked up to a 1500 gallon rain barrel to run my pressure washer. It needs a lot of water with consistent pressure and it works great so far.
