I've used this pressure washer for less than 3 hours total. I'm taking it back to be worked on for the second time. Both times are for different reasons. This things a lemon.

We are sorry to hear you are still having issues with your pressure washer. We do see you reached out to us the first time informing us the pressure washer was tipped while in shipping resulting in oil spilling on the machine. Even though it's not supposed to happen, sometimes a shipping company (any shipping company) will tip a box in shipment, causing oil to escape the pressure washer and permeate the box, sometimes the air filter, and occasionally the spark plug. Unfortunately this will cause rough running or keep it from starting all together.
Usually cleaning or replacing the air filter and/or replacing the spark plug will clear up the issue or the Authorized Service location will have the parts and expertise available to clean your pressure washer's carburetor and replace the oily filter at Generac's expense.
This unit is covered by the 2 year Factory Warranty from Generac. You did exactly the right thing by contacting the Authorized Service location again for Warranty Service... but please accept our apologies for your disappointment and inconvenience!
We appreciate your business and we're confident the Generac folks will take good care of you.

It's a little hard to pull. Must have high compression because sometimes it rips out of my hand! Starts instantly with a violent jolt. I run it all day. Always remember to run fresh gas through it and change its oil every 2 months and store it with a bottle of oil screwed into it during winter. I think I will have this machine for 5 or more years. I wash my house and driveway yearly with it. And lawnmower many other things

We are sorry to learn of the startup issues you are currently experiencing. The first thing we usually have folks try when the pull-start seems locked up is to squeeze the trigger gun and let water run through the unit before trying to start it. This pushes all the air out of the pump, preventing what's called "vapor lock". If there are any questions regarding this matter please do not hesitate to contact Generac directly at 888-436-3722.

I just purchased my pressure washer this spring and it does an amazing job!
I have a three story house and it's hard to reach the top story from the ground. I added the extension rod and it works amazingly. I tried the two tips for the second story and they didn't work that well. So I went to my extension rod and one of the tips that has the smallest hole to get the most pressure and it cleaned the mold off from my siding very well.
I am very happy with my pressure washer and the tools and the soap tank.

This machine would not even start when we got it. I have had it at a repair vendor for 4 weeks or so. I almost broke my back trying to start it. It would never start but smoked a lot. Your [Generac] tech person worked on the machine to no avail. We are waiting on a new motor to be sent form the factory. I spent hours taking this thing for repairs as the tech lives a long way from me. This company [Generac] would not even pay to have the machine picked up.This machine stinks. Buy local. Direct orders - if something wrong - you are screwed.
Warranty is cheap. Spent 20 dollars in gas and 2 hours trying to start it and then bring to the technician. Guess who has to spend more money to pick it up if it ever gets fixed. You have to have a friend help you load and unload. Test these things prior to shipping.

I'm enjoying the Generac pressure washer. It starts up easily and after about 3 hours of use, no problems so far.
I gave quality a 4 star for the plastic wand holder and the soap tube can easily touch the hot motor but I simply zip tied the tube to the frame. Value would have been a 5 star if they had a qd fitting on the hose instead of both m22 ends.
The unit folds up and fits under my covered truckbed.

Being able to adjust the pressure on the pressure washer is great. If you only have one pressure it is to much for some jobs or not enough for others depending on the washer.
The One Wash is great you can adjust the pressure for washing everything from your your car to your concrete driveway.

You can also adjust the spray by using the different nozzles- a wider spray will diffuse the pressure, a narrower spray nozzle will focus it.

Just what a power tool should do...give one a feeling of power.
I have used the power washer for about ten hours over one month and when combined with the Generac surface tool and a turbo nozzle made quick work of cleaning 3000 square feet of brick driveway, 1000 sf of stone patio, and 1500 sf of concrete garage and sidewalk. Much easier than chemicals.
Lost one star when engine kept running after turning the rocker switch to "off". After pulling the spark plug connector/cap to turn off the machine, I found one of the rocker switch wire clips had vibrated loose. No further problems after reattaching the clip and taping it down.
