This replaces a 10 year old Briggs and Stratton generator that blew a rod. This product was recommended by my generator repairman, who also installed it without any issues and now no power, no sweat.

I bought mine over a year ago and have had no problems after an initial bad panel. I was quoted a price locally that was $3000+ higher than what I spent buying it here! I contacted a local plumber and asked if he could install it for me, and find an electrician. He did. I had the generator delivered to his shop, and he took care of the rest. The electrician was beside himself trying to install it. He said it was much more work than advertised.
However, I finally called Generac and they had me call their local dealer. It was a defective panel. They replaced it and I've had no problems since. I HAVE found that not all Gererac dealers are reputable! One told me I needed servicing twice a year at the cost of over $750.
I called Electric Generators and they told me the truth! Once a year at MUCH less money. They also directed me to this model even though I thought I needed a larger one. Their honesty was a big selling point. I recommended them to others, including my plumber, the electrician and a local cop! All of whom said they wanted to get one! I'm very happy with the service I received.

This is the 4th generator I have purchased from website that I am very happy with. Only complaint is on Generac's new NG to LP Control, I and other people are having extreme difficulties trying to turn these knobs from NG to LP, plastic knob is breaking right off while trying to set control.

Purchased the 14KW with a 150 AMP ATS. Generator delivered in a timely manner and in good condition. Installation straightforward and started up fine. Generator frequently stalls on tests with error code 1501.
