Built Sell But Does Not Clean Well

The unit looks to be very well built. Problem is my 18" unit that cost $150 performs better than this. I am running off of a 3700 psi pressure washer at max pressure and the surface cleaner seems to have very poor pressure and does not clean well.

First and foremost thank you for your purchase of the Surface Cleaner. We are very sorry to hear you are experiencing some issues with your surface cleaner. We first recommend cleaning the spray tips on the bar with a pin or blow out with an air compressor. Majority of the time the tips are clogged from debris in the water. We highly recommend you contact the folks at General Pump directly at (888) 474-5487 to have them diagnose the problem and have this covered under the 90-day warranty that comes with the unit.

Kicks Butt Tool!

This is a kick butt surface cleaner provided you have enough power and gpm from your pressure washer. The unit moves very freely in all directions even side to side if needed. The wheels must have very good bearings! Two comments though: there is no adjustable stop on the handle to allow for a fixed height of the handle so you are totally supporting the weight of the handle and pressure hose while you are working. If there would be an adjustable stop to allow for the operator to set the handle height at a comfortable position removing the weight of the handle and hose, this would be great. I will Mcgiver something to solve this issue. The other thing is the manual says that the main rotating arm bearing is pregreased at the factory and does not need lubricating for 40 hours, this is false as I decided to just test my unit and it required about 10 pumps from my grease gun before it was full. Other than those two issues, this is a great tool!

We used this machine for 54 hours last week and so far it has outperformed our Simpson disk in both speed and ability to do a much better cleaning job. We have ordered five more of them to replace our Simpson disks. Assuming they last longer than the Simpson disk we will be very happy with the purchase.

We have a long sidewalk and large drive that has accumulated various stains over the years, mostly black. This unit completely cleans the sidewalk in one to three passes. It almost matches new concrete in color. It works best with a 4000psi/4gal pressure washer but did an excellent job with a 3200psi/2.8gal washer.
