Features

Goodman established itself as the largest HVAC manufacturer in the US by producing high-quality, efficient equipment and providing it to homeowners at a great value. The GCEC96 two-stage, multi-speed furnace was designed to provide premium efficiency at an affordable price. It features Goodman's superior heat exchanger design for the primary heat exchanger and an additional secondary heat exchanger to ensure that your energy dollars aren't being vented out of your home. This combination results in a furnace that converts 96% of the energy used directly into heat for your home, Goodman's highest mark for a two-stage furnace. Instead of a standard multi-speed blower motor, the GCEC960603BN utilizes an ECM motor, which uses less power and provides smarter circulation. The value doesn't end at efficiency, the GCEC96 features many different connection options to reduce installation time and a self-diagnosing control board to expedite maintenance. If you're looking to cut your energy bills and improve your comfort without breaking the bank, your search stops with the GCEC96.
  • Advanced Heat Exchanger Design
  • The GCEC96 furnace employs a reliable dual-diameter tubular heat exchanger design. Aluminized steel is used in construction for incredibly efficient heat transfer and wrinkle-bend technology for extraordinary durability.
  • Secondary Heat Exchanger
  • This furnace produces additional heat without using more fuel by directing combustion gases through a secondary heat exchanger before they are vented.
  • Quiet Comfort
  • Goodman takes great pride in producing equipment that doesn't disrupt your home. The blower and gas valve of the GCEC96 were selected for their incredibly low sound levels.
  • Venting Options
  • The GCEC96 offers several venting options to streamline installation in a variety of applications. It can be used in either a two-pipe direct vent setup or a single-pipe configuration with combustion air provided from within your home.
  • Secure Cabinet
  • All GCEC96 furnaces are protected by a durable steel cabinet rated for less than 2% air leakage. The heat exchanger section is insulated to prevent heat loss and the return side of the cabinet is solid and airtight.
  • Self-Diagnostic Control Board
  • The GCEC96 continuously monitors the system to ensure reliable operation, stores the last diagnostic codes in memory, and a flashing LED indicates condition for quick troubleshooting.
  • Extended Warranty
  • Goodman offers a 10-year limited unit replacement and parts warranty when you register your product online within 60 days of installation. An unregistered product has the standard 5-year warranty. See the "Manuals" tab for more information.
  • Product Note
NOTE: This model has been temporarily suspended from production.
