Necessary For Parallel Operation

We had the original EU2000 and purchased the EU2000I Companion, but needed the cables in order to run both generators in order to power/operate our appliances in our LQ horse trailer and 5th wheel Cougar.

I bought this Gen to supplement my RVs built in and the EU2i I had. It ran everything great. I let it run all night to ensure my kids had heat during a very cold spell 26 degrees. Ran the RV heater and a space heater. It was still so quite that no one in the camp even knew it was running, Great buy, Great genetator

Perfect accessory for my two eu200i's

I purchased the EU2000i and companion because of their light weight and the fact that sometimes I only need one generator instead of two. We use them to power our pop up RV and RV air conditioner, the parallel cables are a perfect accessory for these two generators and it's simple and easy to set up.
Just plug them in, use a phillips-head screw driver to attach the two ground wires and thirty seconds later you have 4,000 peak watts of power! Thanks Honda and generators direct for offering a great product at a great price with lightening fast shipping!

Very Happy Overall

Using these cables with the Honda generator delivers as promised. It would be nicer if the ground wire did not require securing every time with a screw driver. A quick connect would be much better.

After my basement filled with water from backed-up sump pump my electric panel was a goner and I was without power. I used it in parallel with another EU2000i to power fridge, sump pump, injector pump, dehumidifier, some lights, and lots of fans. The parallel kit is a lifesaver, makes it easy to hook up and use every last watt the generator had to offer. I noticed them also running slower most of the time when in parallel and as a result - sipping the fuel as opposed to gulping it when I had uneven loads on them and had to run one/both at max throttle.
Also had a 5000w no name generator to run the space heaters - it was loud, noisy, and sucked fuel. These are the perfect size, my wife could move them and start them.
There were no problems I made sure to change oil after 16 hours of break in and the plug and oil again at the end of the week. I'm confident it will continue to function for many years.

Would Not Crank
By Robert

Review Posted 07/18/2012
Purchased new Eu2000i, Used it for two hrs, shut it off and it would not crank again, lost all compression. Now I am struggling with a authorized dealer to have it repaired through the mfg, warranty. I am getting the impression that authorized dealers resent repairing units purchased on line!!! It remains to be seen if I will get satisfaction on this purchase, so far it has been questionable.
