Perfect luggable size generator. Has the rugged full frame and minimal plastic to break off. Has generous fuel tank. Carb easy to access and can be replaced or rebuilt easily. The Honda GX engine is hard to beat. Recoil parts you can find easy. Best bang for the buck in generators.

I was a little disappointed at first due to no auto throttle, but after reading how this unit works I understand completely. It is easy for my wife to load by herself and start. Great Product and reasonable priced. would buy again for sure.

It was Labor Day 2017. Hurricane Irma was bearing down on our Florida Keys home. I called and ordered the generator after the holiday Monday, first thing Tuesday morning. I paid for overnight shipping. Wednesday FedEx arrived with the generator. The power went out Saturday morning. I opened the box, added fuel and oil, pulled out the choke and yanked. Braaaaaa. First yank.
It is a Honda. A first yank start is what I expected based on past Honda engine ownership. That is exactly what I got..
Our EB3000 kept us in business: two refrigerators, a freezer, Direct TV receiver, a big LCD flat screen, a laptop computer, DSL gateway and a couple of CFL lights. It is not the quietest generator on the planet but it likely is one of the most reliable. I will take this compromise..
Now it gets drained, serviced and goes on the shelf for the next hurricane to visit the keys.
A special thanks to Electronic Generators Direct for getting this baby on the first plane out and here in time.

Filled it with oil, filled it with fuel, pulled out the choke, flipped the switch and pulled the ripcord. Fired as expected, ran great right from the get-go. That's what I expect from Honda products! Runs the power tools that I run all the time: skilsaw, roto-hammer, breaker. As you know, it's the initial surge from the skilsaw that's the killer. Never a problem! I used the Honda chart to check on this model before I purchased it and it lived up to what was put forth. No regrets, here!!

I bought this generator based on Honda quality, weight, and fuel efficiency. The eb3000c is easy to move around with one person. I plan to use it primarily for emergency home power.

This is easy to move around and has all the power I need. When the power went down for 20 hours this unit powered my freezer and refrigerator with enough power to run a light and the TV. The unit is quiet and very stingy on the gas. This is the generator I have been looking for.

If you are loading and unloading your generator into a work truck this is the perfect choice. At 70 lbs it is a one man job. More room in the back of my truck is a big bonus. Runs my 1600 watt Hilti Breaker with ease. Great small generator with enough power to run any tool we use. Feels like a lunch pail compared to my IS 3000. I make my living m-f year round running Honda generators and they are top notch.
