Been wanting one for years. Now I have it and works great. I take it to the drag strip so I have elect. For tools, battery charger, etc. very quiet. Will be using with our Motorhome also as it is so quiet and won’t be bothering others while running.

Works great. Runs what I need for my camper. I have an easy start on my A/C and this runs it just fine. I’ve also paralleled it with my old 2000 (even though Honda says not too) and it worked great. Nice and quiet. I put an hour meter on it and have around 65 hours on it so far. My old 2000 has thousands of hours I’m sure and still works great.

Bought generator as a companion generator to supply my camper for six months in the woods so far it has worked optimal and have done a real good job of powering everything between two Honda 2200 companion generator and Honda 2000 generator Tied together with the parallel cables also from Honda.

I'll admit, this unit is a bit pricey, but honestly with honda you get what you pay for. This generator powers everything in our RV except the ac unit without any struggle. We will be purchasing a second eu 2200i to run in parallel soon so we can run the ac.
A real plus is that this unit is an inverter generator. The tv, microwave, and laptop all run smoothly on its power just as if they were plugged in at home.This unit is very quiet and is great on gas too. Just make sure to follow the maintenance schedule and I'm sure you'll have a machine that will last for years!

I'm using the EU2200i Companion along with an EU2200i in parallel for back up home power. I did the initial home test the other day and everything worked flawlessly. I really liked the eco power feature. I'd cycle different loads to the generators and you can immediately hear the engine increase and decrease depending on the load. Can't speak to efficiency yet--my test was for one hour but, since it's a Honda I'm confident they will be efficient. AND, now I have portable power for other uses when they are not needed for home power.

This is a terrific generator.....very quiet and powerful. I would wish for more than one 120 volt outlet....as it is, I have to use a multi plug. Also, I like to run the fuel out of the generator before storing.....machine does not seem to have a fuel shutoff which would allow this. Other than these two minor items.....great machine and very good value.

The reason why this model only has (1) 120V outlet is because this is the Companion model. While it can be used on its own, it is designed to be used in parallel with the standard EU2000i model. The fuel shutoff on this model is located on the outside of the unit directly below the recoil starter.
