I have used this mower only six times. First, I ordered this mower at 3 pm on a Tuesday & it was sitting on the front porch on Thursday around noon. Never have I seen anything this big delivered that fast, & I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan. I lifted the mower out of the box myself, unfolded handle, filled the engine with provided oil, filled with nonethanol fuel and on very first pull engine started right up. That is amazing with the dry fuel line. I have never pulled more than once to start the engine. I didn't buy this mower for easy starting, that was just an extra plus. Originally I ordered the side discharge model, but it was back-ordered from the factory, I was told I could buy this model & not use the bagger. Mulching was beyond expectations, I'm very pleased with this item. Honda has a very solid mower. Mowers direct was great to work with, couldn't be happier!

This mower has cut my lawn well in a variety of grasses, thickness, moistures, & climates. The mower cuts my grass like a finisher, & the mulch option allowed for a cut on a thicker yard. The power of the mower was evident, in that it didn't give while trimming a slightly overgrown yard.

Has lots of power. Started on the 1st pull out of the box. 2 very small negative comments. 1. A little light in the front end as the front wheels will want to lift off of the ground if your mowing terrain is not smooth. 2. When you pull the mower backwards towards you the rear wheels have some drag. My neighbors Honda has the same problem.. Please note that these are very minor items. I think the mower is a great buy and mows really well. I very much like the variable speed ability.

This is a good mower but the drive handle is in a terrible position. It needs to be modified so you can turn it without trying to pull it from the other side. Need help fast.

I am 66 years old and purchased a Honda walk behind self propelled mower to mow my 1.29 A. I had been using a gas powered push mower. When I got the mower I noticed the right front wheel did not touch the ground on a level surface. When you use the mower the wheel skips. I tried playing some games with the grass height positions which didn't help the problem. I brought it to a local Honda approved repair center and they have had it for two weeks now. They haven't addressed the problem. In fact when I brought it in the repair supervisor seemed to think it has a bent chassis. I doubt this since the complaint is on lawn mower forums and you tubes which say how to fix it (replace right wheel support assembly.) Problem is they don't say exactly what is wrong with the assembly so if you get another part, how will you know if it will fix it? My guess is if in fact it is this part that it is out of dimension. This problem has been going on since 2016. People just seem to accept it since the mower still cuts the grass. However, there will be more pressure on the left wheel which will fail eventually. Another complaint is that the front wheels are not straight, which mine are not straight either. Currently, I'm back to mowing with my push mower.
