Delivery Driver Caused Significant Damage

The delivery driver caused a bunch of damage to my driveway and the surrounding landscaping. Ran over some decorative pavers and destroyed them, I have piles of broken concrete and rebar all over the place. I reached out to PED with an explanation and pictures almost 2 months ago and they never sent me any response. Will never buy from here again. Shameful customer service.

Great Mower With Average Build Quality

Mower was delivered on time and without shipping damage. The unit performs well, but I would like to see more available accessories. A few fasteners have loosened up over the first season with a couple of bolts lost. I would like to see more lock washers, or Loctite used on the construction.

I have looked for this product for 2 years and finally found it at Mowers Direct. It mounted up perfectly to the chute and has performed wonderfully so far. I will say the directions aren’t the best but if you are a little bit handy you should have no trouble getting it mounted to your mower. Bag dumping is easy. Based on other reviews that I read before purchasing I was concerned that where the chute attaches to the bags it was going to leak grass. It seems to me that they have fixed that problem and made it better. Overall this is a great bagging system. I would recommend adding the weights they supply to the front of the mower. They seem to help distribute weight on the mower and give a solid ride.

As an aircraft mechanic, I did not have any major issues installing this unit. If you don't have a good mechanical background, you may want someone to install it for you. I do have a few tips though:
When installing the side braces to the bagger tubes, the instructions say to install the straps to the outside of the tube. On the left side, yes. On the right side, install the strap to the inside of the tube so the strap is correctly aligned.
When installing the weights to the front, take the side mount and slide it over the axle BEFORE removing the nut/bolt on the axle. If you remove it, the lower plate will expand slightly and the mount will not go over the axle. Slide the mount on as close to the bolt, remove the bolt, then tap the bracket into final position before bolting it down. It will move fairly easily with a rubber mallet. Keep it all loose until you have the plates lined up and the bolts started. I installed them because I have a few hills in my yard.
The mower deck deflector plates should have a separate instruction sheet. (mind did). It may be easier to install these with the deck off the mower. I jacked up the front of the mower for working clearance. Again, bolt it all in loose, then tighten when it is all lined up.
The front bolt for the lower chute is a royal pain to get to when installing the chute with the deflector plates installed. It needs to come from the inside out then tightens with the wing nut. Again, either jacking the mower front up will make access easier. Kind of makes it a pain to install the chute.
As far as operation, I found it to work very well. It picked up even the "stuck" leaves. 33 gallon lawn bags fit inside the hoppers with no issues.
One complaint that I have, as others, is the rubber chute attachment. I am sure it will not last all that long, but they are available on Amazon.
Overall, it is a good design, much better than the bagger I used on an old Craftsman tractor I had in the past.

Looks good after install.

Purchased this week. Fit was good. Appears to be a quality bagger. A little grinding was required to make the weight brackets fit up front. This was only 5 minutes work with 4 inch grinder. Instructions are lacking detail, but all parts were there for install. Just over an hour my install.

Will NOT recommend this item as I have a Husqvarna 48” deck 23 hp zero turn and nothing fits it the directions are pointless missing parts and the parts I have nothing fits it unless you going to cut most of the frame off to make it fit…

Like everyone else has said, the instructions are horrendous, but if you have any bit of handyman in you, then you can figure it out. I will say, the rubber grommet that feeds into the collector broke on the second mow. I have yet to replace, so I just put some duct tape on the ripped area and it will hold for one mow.
