Ordered this and had it shipped for 2-day delivery, as I was needing it to get yard work done. I bought a new mower but did not have a hitch on it. I received it in 2 days and was concerned about not extending out enough for my attachments. I had no problems with pulling attachments. A little awkward to install, but I will give 4 out of 5 stars. I would order again.

The product is well made, which is a plus... On the downside, the plate is too short. When installed, it only allows for a hitch area of approximately three inches. There isn't enough room on the hitch plate for a hitch to seat adequately without the end of the hitch hitting against the mower frame. It would really be great if the hitch plate was four inches or longer to allow more room for the hitch to seat on the plate. Other than that, the plate is OK.

Great Mower - Painful First Experience

Great mower, excellent quality. However, when it was shipped to me, I paid for the lift gate service. The mower in its crate was too big for the liftgate, so it took the delivery guy and me a lot of sweat and creativity to get it off the truck. Then the uncrating experience was awful. The crate was on top of pallet, so I had to totally rip the crate apart, then ultimately chain the mower to my ATV and yank it off the pallet. 3 hours later, I tried to start it and realized the battery connection components were not present for the negative wire, so off to the hardware store to buy those.

Don't waste your money on this hitch kit. Instead, measure the bolt spacing and have the local welding shop make one for you. The hitch in this kit doesn't extend far enough from the mower frame to be useful. It needs to extend out twice as much as it does.
