Very disappointing piece of junk
By Husqvarna Customer
Review Posted 05/13/2023
I have owned this Husqvarna for 5 years and it has never run right. Has always had an issue with bogging down and cutting off. Had to adjust the carburetor ever third or fourth use just to keep it running. Finally got to the point I could not keep it running. So, I replaced the fuel lines, carburetor, gasket, prime bulb, air filter, spark plug....you would think that it would run like new. Nope, cannot get it to run at top end at all with out bogging down and cutting off. I have adjusted the new carburetor 50 times...I give up!!! Going back to a real piece of yard equipment, Echo. This has turned me off of Husqvarna products for good. What a disappointment, hassle and total waste of time and money.

3rd 128LD problems this time
By Husqvarna Customer
Review Posted 09/06/2022
I have owned 3 128LDs now. Two previous worked well for about two years of hard work. The on/off switch quit working, but i could choke it to death. I have tried to tune up with plug, fuel filter, clean air filter, and carb adjustment after they quit starting and running well, but had no luck getting them back up and running. This third 128LD worked for a couple weeks and then went down...would not start. I wanted it repaired but had to send it back to the factory for repairs. I had to buy a DeWalt electric 60V edger/trimmer to get me through. it is been 6 weeks and I have heard nothing. :-/

Piece of junk

Two of the screws that hold the rope pull on fell out and as I was pulling the rope it broke so I took it to a shop and they found the two screws that are missing there was no thread in the motor to hold the screws in so thats why the screws fell out but in the meantime its broke its a piece of junk

Tim the Tool Man had it right - Need MORE POWER

I cannot really complain because it did not cost me anything, but my dad picked one of these up a couple years back at a big box home improvement store that is not orange for I believe $299. Grossly overpriced. It replaced a 30 year-old craftsman. I knew when I saw LD (light duty) on the box we were in for trouble. I have got about 1.5 acres and this thing just cannot handle tall grass and weeds. At all. And unlike the machine it replaced, but exactly like my Huskie chainsaw, it is extremely particular when it comes to fuel. After fighting with it the first summer, I have resorted to simply using off the shelf premix fuel, which is stupid expensive. Wish I would been there to give him another $30 for an upgrade in power.
