Monster blower - worthless warranty

This Husqvarna blower is powerful and can power through wet heavy snow, on a steep hill, on ice. It was amazing. I could count on this thing to clean up drifts up to 2 feet high and blow it into my yard - and the neighbor's if I wasn't careful. If only it lasted...
The first problem happened immediately. If I shut the blower off I couldn't restart it for about 2 hours. This is a serious problem with a hydrostatic track drive. The blower cannot be moved unless it runs.
A nearby authorized dealer repaired it under warranty - apparently there were several recalls/TSBs on the blower. The repairs included replacing a defective ignition coil - twice. The first new ignition coil somehow didn't let the dealer themselves restart the blower.
Fast forward to this year's first storm.. and this blower is ruined. It takes several tries to start with the electronic ignition. It can barely blow light fluffy snow 2 feet away, and if I stop the engine it won't restart for another 2 hours.
The dealer is refusing to do additional warranty repairs claiming they no longer service Husqvarna (but Husqvarna insists the dealer is an authorized service center), won't warranty their own repairs, and Husqvarna may do something - out of good will - and said they'd get back to me. Husqvarna hasn't gotten back to me.
Save your money - don't buy a Husqvarna.

Great delivery, starts right up, blows snow far. Only 1 con, steering finger triggers are very stiff and hard to use.

I received the new snow blower 1 day before the big January 2016 snow storm. Blew snow well but the chute directional control broke during the first hour. The clutch system in the tracks was slipping even when the clutch was not engaged. Very disappointed in the propulsion system and having parts break on day one. I am now going to have to take the blower to a dealer to see if there is a fix for the slipping track system.

Difficult to Turn

Had the blower back twice for the service to look at the lack of turning ability. You can turn it, but you better put your back into it. Listed as power steering, far from it. When you pull the trigger it kinda tries to turn.
That being said, this blower went thru 40" of snow the plows left me at the bottom of my driveway with ease. Five stars for everything but steering, Steering gets ONE star

Within a few weeks of receiving the snow blower we got a 30" storm. This machine performed incredibly well. Plenty of power and the tracks provided fantastic traction on driveway. The controls are very well laid out and intuitive. Changing the chute direction is very easy. The turning radius is excellent. The operating volume is great too- you can actually have a conversation while it's idling.
I did use the electric start but it's not necessary. The pull start is easy and dependable. It started on the first or second try every time.
When I was choosing between wheels or tracks I was told that wheels would be better for paved driveways (versus gravel), but I'm glad I went with the tracks. A neighbor was out with his wheeled model and was having a lot of trouble keeping traction- especially on hills.
I highly recommend the Husqvarna track drive snow blower.

Having lived in northern New England for over 55 years (30 of them in Maine), I am one who knows you need a serious machine to handle snow. After extensive research, references, and prior ownership of other manufactures - I purchased the Husqvarna ST330T from Snow Blowers Direct. Delivery was perfect (thanks Old Dominion!), and an easy assembly question was handled quickly and in a very pleasant format. I am looking forward to our first snow to try it out, but I feel I have purchased a quality product at a very fair price. Time will tell.
