This Product Exceeded My Expectations

Follow the instructions thoroughly, make sure you use the correct instructions for the correct lawn tractor, as there are different instructions for different models, assembly took five hrs. This snow thrower works great to keep extra sheet pins on hand.

Followed the book and took me about 3 hours to install on my 2010 Husqvarna GTH27V52LS.
I read the book twice because the blower fits three tractors and had to sort the parts, besides that it went real easy to install. The blower looks great and easy to operate.
The only problem I have is the blower been on for two weeks and it hasn't snowed yet and I live in southern upper NY, everybody keeps thanking me for buying it LOL.

Husqvarna (42") Two-Stage Tractor Mount Snow Blower form 2012

Review Posted 12/10/2016
Had this 3 years. The lifting arm is about 6" too short, but does blow snow well. A 14" blower instead of a 12" would make this idle. Very easy to attach. Once the mounting brackets are installed, that took 3 hours.

Installation tips
By Keith H.

Great Investment
Upon receipt, I was really surprised to find out how much it weighed, 370 lbs. I started the installation process the same day I received it and had to do a little shop work first. The guard for the exhaust needed to be cut slightly (about an inch) on both sides because the guard was different than in the installation manual.
After doing that, things went a little more smoothly. You need to take the time to not only inventory all the parts, but also to mark them as well. It can be very confusing which nuts and bolts the manual is talking about if you don't organize them and mark them ahead of time. Overall it took me about 8 hours to do the complete installation, but I will caveat that I have a severe back problem and am a little slower these days compared to when I was a middle aged.
I was also very surprised to find out the electric system comes with a 2000 lb winch line to lower and raise the snow thrower. It was definitely worth the cost to pay the extra dollars for the electric system. I did find that it would have been more helpful if Husqvarna would have provided about 3 feet of 18 AWG electrical wire to go from the relay switch to the battery.
My battery is mounted in the back of the tractor and the wire harness that was supplied was too short to reach to the Battery. You need to connect the wire either at the battery, or somewhere after the ignition switch, as I didn't have the time to trace down a hot wire I could have tapped into.
I will find out how well this device works once we get our first snowfall, but I am prepared now. It does go on the tractor very easily once all the mounting gear is properly in place. It's a good idea to use both the installation video at the same time reading the instructions. They both work well hand in hand.
