This leaf blower has exceeded my expectations. I did a lot of research before purchasing. I've had it about two years now and just writing the review, but this is all you need. Buy it and be done...

Bought For Snow
By Robert H.
Colorado
Review Posted 11/29/2022
Have a steep 500-foot dirt driveway. I used blower for the first time today with 5 inches of Colorado mountain snow. Temperature was 10 degrees. Blower is strong enough to remove snow off the driveway quickly.

This thing is ridiculous!!!
By Husqvarna Customer
Review Posted 11/19/2022
Go big or go home! This backpack blower makes everything easy! I had the smallest Husqvarna gas backpack blower, 150BT before this one and it worked great also but if you need to move mountains of leaves than the 580BTS is what is needed!

Awesome machine!
By Husqvarna Customer
Review Posted 11/15/2022
What used to take all weekend now is done in an hour. I had a 125bts and it was just gutless when working my leaves. Decided it was time for a new blower. I set out wanting the biggest and baddest. Read about the 570bts and it has great specs. Went to the dealer and they had a 580bts on the shelf. So for a little extra money I got the 580bts. Very glad I did! So much power (again, I am coming from a 125) that it made me laugh at how easily it moves piles of leaves, wet or dry. It makes leaf blowing pleasureable. Only a few drawbacks, if you can call them that. it is a heavy machine, but the belt it has takes a bunch of weight off your shoulders. it is loud, wear hearing protection. And it likes it fuel, but then again it is almost a 5hp engine you are strapping to your back. That being said, would I buy another one? Absolutely. Have no clue how old my little 125 was when I sold it (bought it used) but it was running good. I am hoping my new 580 gives me as many years of service as the 125 did.

Durable, powerful and reliable beast can't be beat
By Retired Drill Sergeant

I've owned the Mark III for just over a year, so that means a good part of two New England leaf seasons and a snow season.
I assembled it easily and fired it up with the Husky pre-mix as that will double the warranty. It is extremely responsive and reliable as well as ridiculously powerful when the throttle is wide open. The power just cannot be beat by anybody else, as far as I know.
I have done my 1 1/3 acre yard loaded with trees and a couple of neighbor's yards, my parents several acre property and this is a huge timesaver. No more blowing leaves into a pile to have to rake and drag on a tarp. This will blow anywhere the leaves need to go with ease. It has no problem blowing acorns, small branches or even hickory nuts. I've blown up to four inches of snow, but if it is wet snow, the hot air can melt the snow onto the surface. I used to use a riding mower with a 8.5 hp trailer suction system, but I had to manually dump the trailer and drag the collected leaves on a tarp. That wonderful Craftsman tool is no longer required.
This beast is also a beast on gas. I'm starting on my third gallon this leaf season, but that is after several weeks of doing leaves at multiple properties and running this a few times a week for hours at a time sometimes.
I read and watched lots of reviews and youtube comparisons to the Echo, Redmax and the Stihl's best models and went with this and have no regrets. I've got three husky chainsaws and a husky riding mower and they all seem to require very little work other than general maintenance.
I'd buy another one in a heartbeat.
The only minor setbacks with this is that when you turn the engine off, it stays off instead of returning to a position where you can start it again. I've pulled a few times with there being no chance of it running. Get used to that and you're good to go. Also, while doing large properties at full throttle, I have had the tubes blow off on a few occasions. To alleviate that situation, I drilled a hole in the areas where the tubes connected and screwed them in place. No more issues. Once you get the hang of putting it on your back, you can be up and running, as you literally don't need to be walking back and forth doing small areas of leaves multiple times. This is well worth the money if you value your time.
Great job again, Husky!!!

Extremely reliable and powerful blower...the best
By Husqvarna Customer
Review Posted 11/02/2022
I purchased this beast just over a year ago and I find it to be very easy to start, crazy strong performing and rugged and reliable. It starts very easy with the choke only needed when it is cold...even then, usually on the first pull after a quarter pull to get the gas to gurgle in to the engine. The only thing that I would change is that once you turn the blower off, the toggle switch stays in the off position, so you need to remember to turn it back on or you will be pulling with no firing. Also, I had to drill a couple of holes and screw in the hard plastic tubes as the vibration and the force of the blower tends to blow them off if you are doing a large property. I have also used this to blow one to two inches of snow off of my driveway and sidewalk and vehicles, but the heat tends to melt the bottom of the snow on contact.
I can blow wet leaves and small branches, hickory nuts and acorns with no issues.
Wet leaves on wet asphalt are no longer requiring a rake and a tarp...huge back and time saver! I would buy another one in a heartbeat if this one died. I have already used one to two gallons of fuel in the last two to three weeks just doing my 1 plus acre lawn loaded with trees and a neighbors similar lawn and my parents multi acre property.
Work smarter not harder if given the choice. This will pay for itself if you value your time!
I had a landscaper try this out, as he was using a very old Husky backpack blower and he was floored with the power and speed of this unit.
