Can't beat the reliability of a T-30 Ingersoll Rand. We ordered two, had one damaged and Air Compressors Direct promptly made it right. Refused delivery, and had a replacement within a week.

Bad Motor
By Ron C
New York
Purchased 12/15/2023 |
Review Posted 01/08/2024
I bought this unit to replace a similar, but much older unit. The shipping material was very good and I couldn't see any damage. When we installed the air compressor we discovered that the motor was bad. One of the windings were open.
I called ACD and was told I had to contact Ingersoll Rand for warranty replacement of the motor. I called I-R and initially, they sounded as if they wanted to send me a new motor and promised to overnight the motor. It has been 5 days now and still no motor. I called ACD to let them know the problem but they insisted they weren't able to do anything about it. Yesterday I called IR back and was placed on hold for 1 hour, 1 minute, and 38 seconds. I left a voice mail. After several hours of waiting for a response I called IR again and was once again put on hold for another 1 hour and a few seconds.
Today, I called IR again but this time I pressed a different extension and was able to talk to someone. She was very nice but said there was nothing she could do because it had to come from warranty. She started a case number and then transferred me to warranty. I have now been on hold for 1 hour, 14 minutes, and a few seconds. I am currently still on hold. WHY can't you pick up the phone and talk to me. I spent over $3,000 for a defective air compressor and you won't even talk to me. I seriously regret ever doing business with you.

I bought this for a customer. The install was easy as usual and I didn't have any issues with leaking factory installed fittings.

Been in operation 2 wks with no issues. Definitely recommend.

Now we have three

We have used two of these in our business for the last 10 years.

We needed another one for a different location, so we bought one just like we already had because they seem reliable, and so we can swap the pump out with another one if it would happen to break.
