AIRLESS

Review Posted 06/13/2022
Received unit stepped up to rotary because this unit had to be inside shop and didn't want all of the noise a regular compressor makes. Hooked unit up and ran, and was impressed with how quiet unit is even with access panel off. Unit ran for about 15 minutes but does not make any air pressure. After checking all the obvious things called Ingersoll Rand. Had to wait for several people to call back before we got to someone that could help us. Ran us through the diagnosis and found a sol valve that is not working. Great I thought, wrong! Part is not available. It's been 30 days still no compressor. I asked for a replacement compressor, they said that was not an option! Seems like a company this big would have a little bit better support for their products. In fairness to Air Compressor Direct, I did not contact them because the compressor never worked from the start and figured it was a manufacturer problem.

Expert Response
First and foremost, thank you for your purchase. We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your feedback, and we can certainly understand your aggravation. We will forward your review to the manufacturer, so they are aware of the situation. We have followed up with the IR on this issue. They informed us this is a warranty issue and they are offering the part, however, it was back ordered. Unless the MFG will provide a new unit or credit us back for a defective unit they are going to have to proceed through the warranty process. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

We do appreciate your business and apologize for any inconvenience.

Worked amazing till it shut off one day, now I'm jumping through hoops trying to find the parts to repair it and Ingersoll local service center wants to charge me almost $1000 to come replace an electrical component that plugs in and has a few wires attached.

I ended up finding the part through local electrical parts distributor for 135% cheaper and fixed it myself. Lets see how long it lasts now.
