Since install this machine has not missed a beat. It is quiet, capable, and performs as advertised. We are never waiting or in need for air. Excellent compressor!

Received delivery of this compressor recently. Compared to the 40 yr old reciprocating compressor it replaced it is much quieter. It has some moans and groans as it cycles that we are getting used to. The top unit size 40"W X 28"D X 32.5" H made for a shoe horn fit in the area we placed it. The electrician complained when reinstalling the electrical access cover because the screws kept falling inside the cabinet.
This compressor generates a lot of heat - a portable fan keeps it in check on hot days. in cold weather the heat will be welcomed.It easily keeps up with 2 tech's air tool and paint gun demands. It's probably overkill for a 2 man shop but if it works less it should last longer. Have to see electric bill. A less pricey compressor would have made sense.
Would we buy it again if we had to do it again? Absolutely. Recommend to others? Yes - if you have the room, don't mind the price and heat.

Hello Steve!
I have a machine shop with 4 CNC machines and I want to buy a rotary screw air compressor. Right now I'm having a two stage air compressor and its noisy. My question is what is advantage of using a rotary screw air compressor? what is the difference? If I buy it should I buy 3-phase or single phase? 80 gallon tank should be enough? higher the horsepower the better? please give me your advice. Thank you very much!
