Does Not Fit 2X In A Standard Sump Pit
By Thomas
Michigan
Purchased 03/03/2022 |
Review Posted 03/28/2022
This is a pretty basic product, but is well-designed for what it is. It allows a Liberty pump to fit snugly in the indented spaces while raising it off the bed of the sump pit.
The only issue I had with this is that it is a bit wider than the pump itself. I have two Liberty pumps in my 18" sump pit. They fit comfortably by themselves, but the stands do not fit.
If you only needed one Liberty pump, or had a larger sump pit (probably 20" diameter or more at the bottom) this would be perfect.

A Good Replacement For Building Bricks
By Robert Z.

Purchased 07/13/2021 |
Review Posted 08/20/2021
I replaced the three bricks with this. The three feet of the pump stick to the adhesive top of this product. It seems sturdy enough to hold the pump. If you need to move the pump, the brick moves with it. I don't think it is reusable if you take the pump out, because the adhesive may not work. Still, I think it beats using building bricks like I used to use.

Sump Pump Base Works Great
By William K.
Palatine, Illinois
Purchased 10/31/2017 |
Review Posted 11/27/2017
Decided to use this base on the recommendation of Sump Pumps Direct manual. Once the old pump was removed I cleaned the bottom of the pit which had quite a bit of sediment. Using this base will keep the pump out of the mud so it can perform its function. To safe guard the pumps operation I plan to clean out the pit at least once a year.
Good insurance and would recommend this base. The only negative was that the base shipped from another site and not with the pump system and I was charged shipping for the base.
