Liberty Pumps are one of the few other branded pumps that are designed and built here in the United States of America. Bergen, New York to be exact. These pumps are built to last and perform for years and the FL51A Effluent pump is no exception. Just beware that this pump is NOT designed for applications where the head lift is less than 15 feet!
With a shut-off head of 48 feet and a 56GPM @ 10' capacity rating, this pump is definitely no slouch. Combined with its heavy-duty epoxy powder coated cast iron construction and 416 stainless steel rotor shaft w/ unitized ceramic carbon seal with permanently lubricated bearings for extended pump life, this pump is designed for a long life!

I liked that this pump is made in the US. I called the pump manufacturer at their factory in NY and spoke with a technical rep about my application to be sure I was selecting the correct model. He assured me that this pump would more than do the job of pumping the head height and pipe length that I have. He even offered that I could use of their less expensive pumps with less head height ability. Being able to talk to the manufacturer is a great service.
