I use it every two weeks, I save about 1-1/2 hours in my front yard vs one with a cord.
I have turf, moves pine needles and everything else fast. I like fast! Heavy, but one rest during the middle works out.

Set up was easy. Love the fact this is a 4 stroke. No mixIng. More quiet then I thought. Used briefly on few remaining leaves in yard (DEC) worked great. Should make Fall clean up quicker and easier and handle weekly grass mowing clean up a breeze.

The cost of this unit was daunting, but the investment is without question one of my best. The four cycle motor is quiet, powerful, convenient, and very, very fuel efficient. I am thrilled with the performance of this leaf blower. It's reduced my leaf management time by half. Makita makes a quality product. If you deal with a large volume of leaves this might be your best investment ever.

I got this because I'm getting older. Waving an electric blower around my yard all day destroys the body. This blower is easy to assemble, easy to fill, no gas-oil mixing is needed. Easy to start, no hard pulling is needed to crank this blower up. This blower cut my leaf blowing time by half or more. Wet leaves are no problem. Leaves caught in underbrush and thick grass are no longer a problem. This blower moves small to medium sticks with ease as well.
It runs pretty smoothly without excessive vibration. It's really not that loud either, but I ALWAYS wear proper hearing protection. I recommend wearing closed eye protection too when using this blower because it really moves debris very well. The only thing I would ADD to this system is a CHEST STRAP. I am currently looking into crafting a suitable chest rig to keep the straps from sliding off my shoulders. It's either the strap material or strap placement that causes this to be an issue. To be fair, I was nearly done with my task by the time strap slippage had become an issue. Other than that, this is an excellent blower, so far.

We bought two acres with a house in the woods. The fall is a hub for keeping up with the leaves, but this machine makes it much easier. It even clears the old leaf material from years of neglect! We are expanding the yard and clearing the old leaves is absolutely necessary. Makita, once again, is making it easy!

I have had the blower for two weeks, and I have used it once. It started easy, ran very well, and has plenty of power to blow the moss off the ground.
I ran it out of gas, refilled it, and it restarted in one pull. My old blower couldn't do that, it would never restart, the 4 stroke engine is great. I'm loving my new blower right now.

I used a chat feature with your site. Your advisor recommended the smaller Makita, but I decided to go more HP. I have a 1.8-acre lot with lots of trees. The engine is quiet and powerful. It is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. It lifts leaves and debris off the wet ground. I can only imagine how it will do when it is dry!
It was a quick delivery from the warehouse in Bolingbrook IL to PA. The only con is that it is sizeable so maneuvering in tight spots is tough. Also, the instructions show a waist belt to be used. One waist belt was not provided. That being said, the pack is very well padded and comfortable! I am very satisfied.
