It's A Mercury, That's Why I Bought It

I buy Mercury because they take a beating. This motor goes on a Work Boat and will bet beat up. We work on lakes and have to get near the shore and into weeds/algae. Other brands can not hack it (and I'm a Honda boy all the way) the Mercury's always survive. The service from PED was exceptional they have real people who answer the phone. The outboard arrived in a timely manner and was the correct one. I splurged this time and got an electric start!

I have owned Mercury engines for over 35 years, and out here in the Northwest, they are one if not one of the most used and reliable outboard motors used for salmon, steelhead, and trout fishing. The patented shift on the handle for me is one of the most necessary requirements for my fishing. The experience with PED was my first in ordering an outboard online and has been nothing but good, especially in these times of Covid delays and offshore shipping delays.
