Runs Forever On A Tank Of Propane

It's fairly quiet at idle speed but sounds like a lawnmower at WOT. I did the break-in, as requested by the manufacturer. It takes a few pulls to get her going when she's cold. Approximate hours of use is 15 so far.I love it. I run a 40hp mercury classic (1991) on my 165 Starcraft Fishmaster for my main. I love the propane power. I changed tanks after 10 hours or so because I thought it felt light. It was actually more than half full.
I plan on connecting it to my main for steering, next season. The range of motion is great and makes the boat super maneuverable. Every now and then it pops out of reverse, but it's not a huge deal.
Out of the box it comes with oil you have to put in yourself. Not hard. I put a trash bin full of water under it instead of the hose. It started after 3 or 4 pulls, which seems to be the norm. Pumps water as it should. When she's warm only needs 1 pull. Sometimes running at just above super slow it'll die but you can tell, unless you can't, and you can give a little goose and she stay alive.
I love it for economy and clean running. It doesn't leave the oil slick that my main motor does. I do like the smell of premix tho, don't get me wrong. Not tilt, manual settings tho and only pull start.
I wish the hose was longer, weight distribution, but there are aftermarket hoses. I only say that because if you're buying this motor for your boat, weight distribution matters. The propane grill size 20 pounders take up space. I put mine in a milk crate type deal.
