Really Nice Lawn Vac w/ Plenty Of Suction & Easy To Maneuver

I had purchased a Little Wonder ProVac. At the time of purchase, I took the cheap approach and opted to not get the self-propelled feature. Big mistake. The Little Wonder is a really nice machine but very heavy and too hard for my 70-year-old body to push on grass. I was contemplating buying a second Little Wonder ProVac with the self-propelled but the cost was very high at $3500. I could not justify that kind of money. So, I checked around on the internet and found this self-propelled Might Mac vac/chipper model VCB1102. The price was much nicer at $2000.
The unit is very well made (very robust). It starts easily(with manual pull start) and is easy to maneuver over grass. Suction is plenty powerful. I did make a few improvements. I replaced the upper yellow oil fill cap with a filler tube and dipstick (items #35574 and 35700). I also added a Drainzit STAN1025 Oil Change Aid tube on the 1/4" side oil port to facilitate oil draining. I did not like the straight upper handle, which is used to engage the clutch. With both hands squeezing that handle it is not possible to keep one hand on the handle grip. I rebent the upper handle so that only one hand is needed to squeeze it to engage the clutch. And I added a two-foot length of PVC pipe onto the shift lever to make it easier to shift speed without needing to bend down.
