Features

In cold climates, it is possible for ice to form on the base and in the drain pan of an outdoor condenser, damaging your system. To mitigate this risk, Mitsubishi offers a drain pan heater that connects directly into the control board of the outdoor condenser. If the system is placed in defrost mode or if the outdoor temperature drops below 36 degrees Fahrenheit, the drain pan heater will automatically activate, protecting your condenser.

Product Questions Answered by Ken, the eComfort Product Expert
Is it relatively easy to connect a drain pan heater after the install is done for the following season. Meaning, there is no need for crazy wiring, just needs to connect to the control panel within the unit, correct?
