- Blower Based Air Propulsion
- The HDC60 uses a blower that allows for a range of air speed control and higher moveable air volume, as well as the ability to be integrated into a building's ductwork.
- Aluminized Steel Heat Exchanger
- The aluminized steel heat exchanger passes lower manufacturing costs along to the consumer, is incredibly durable and is protected by a full 10 year warranty by Modine.
- Pressure Safety Switch
- The HDC60 features an automatic safety shutoff that triggers when the flue exhaust venting system is restricted. This prevents the heater from operating in unsafe conditions or with improper venting.
- Integrated Direct Spark Control Board
- An integrated direct spark control board combines all furnace control functions onto one convenient board. This minimizes labor cost for maintenance and repairs by providing LED diagnostics for troubleshooting by your contractor.
- Permanently Lubricated Motor
- The motor on the HDC60 has a permanent, long lasting lubricant straight from the factory. This means that the motor never has to be oiled, reducing maintenance costs, general wear and tear, and operational noise.
- Seperated Combustion Venting System
- The seperated combustion venting system quickly and efficiently brings flue exhaust from the unit heater to the outdoors while providing the unit heater with outdoor air for combustion, keeping installation costs low while preserving indoor air quality.
- Baked-On Polyester Paint
- The HDC60 features a neutral colored baked-on polyester paint, providing excellent corrosion resistance and durability while blending in with a wide variety of environments.
