- Electric Knockouts
- Electric wiring knockouts and field wiring connections on the PTC55 keep installation costs low and save time during both installation and maintenance for your contractor by simplifing all required electrical work.
- Permanently Lubricated Motor
- The motor on the PTC55 has a permanent, long lasting lubricant straight from the factory. This means that the motor never has to be oiled, reducing maintenance costs, general wear and tear, and operational noise.
- Power Venting System
- The power venting system quickly and efficiently brings flue exhaust from the unit heater to the outdoors, and requires minimal installation labor. This keeps installation related costs as low as possible.
- Stainless Steel Heat Exchanger

The PTC55 is a fully condensing unit heater, a first for the unit heater market. Modine has developed a number of new technologiesto make the Effinity93 line a revolutionary step in the unit heater market, including condensing technology that allows the PTC55 to have an efficiency rating of 93% Thermal Efficiency. The PTC55 is a well engineered, complete package capable of heating large environments while simultaneously keeping heating bills as low as possible and requiring minimal maintenance. Its Conservicore technology preserves its stainless steel heat exchanger by reducing the corrosive effects of flue exhaust, while its power venting system quickly and quietly expels leftover flue exhaust.
