I have had the Noritz NR98 in for about 90 days and I am very pleased with its performance. I and my son installed the tankless water heater in about an hour and one half. I am not sure I could have done it by myself in the location I wanted. Having two people made it very easy to install. It does a great job of giving us hot water whenever we need it. Never run out and no variations in water temp when taking a shower and have other faucets on at the same time. Great appliance and fast, friendly service from the dealer.

My water has never had a problem for 12 years till we found out we were supposed to flush the system every year so I replaced it just to be safe. In laws have a different brand and numerous problems with theirs.

I installed this unit myself and it was quite simple and straightforward, I have had tankless units before and I love them, no more waiting for hot water to reheat after the whole family showers. My only complaint is it seems a touch loud, I can hear it thru the shower, more like a vibration type noise, not really an issue.

This is about the 9th one I have installed. I am switching out the hot water heaters to this Noritz in my rentals as the old heaters die. So far so good. The oldest is 6 years old and no problems. They are easy to install with a basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repair. I actually stockpile a couple of these for immediate installation in the event of water heater failure. I find no difference between the propane and natural gas models I have installed. They get two thumbs up from me.
